Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had an extremely unpleasant experience.
According to TMZ Sports, Caldwell-Pope and his friends were held at gunpoint near the player’s house. On the morning of June 17, a car with three armed men approached and attacked the party.
Attackers forced Caldwell-Pope and his friends to give up all of their belongings, including an iPhone, a luxurious Rolex watch, and jewelry. It was reported that the value of stolen items was around $150,000.
Fortunately, no one was harmed, and guns were unused. The case is being investigated by the Los Angeles police department but so far suspects haven't been found.
Last summer, Caldwell-Pope signed with the Lakers a 3-year, $40 million contract.
