The Russian team has extended a contract with the American sharpshooter Billy Baron. The deal is believed to be for two years.

Baron (30, 1.88) appeared in all 34 EuroLeague regular-season games, coming off the bench. He averaged 9.6 points per game (47% 3-point shooting) and finished 4th in the EuroLeague in 3-pointers made (72). Billy Baron helped his team to a 20-14 record and a playoff berth. In the Playoffs, Zenit lost to FC Barcelona after a five-game series.
