After completing the transfers of Kevin Punter, Aleksa Avramovic and Zach LeDay, KK Partizan Belgrade made another impressive move on the market, signing free agent Rodions Kurucs to a two-year deal.
The agreement contains NBA out and marks Kurucs' first stint in Europe since 2017. The 23-year-old Latvian forward (2.06) is leaving the NBA after 3 years, which he spent between the Brooklyn Nets, the Houston Rockets, and the Milwaukee Bucks. He will now join forces with Zeljko Obradovic in the Serbian capital. Kurucs was the No. 40 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and has also played for VEF Riga (2012-15) and FC Barcelona (2015-18).
While in the NBA, Kurucs appeared in 131 games, averaging 6 points and 3.1 rebounds in 16 minutes of play.
