The New York Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina and Golden State Warriors forward Alen Smailagic will become free agents.

According to Marc Berman from the New York Post, the Knicks didn’t extend a qualifying offer for a 23-year-old French guard, making him an unrestricted free agent.

This means that Knicks' streak continues. The Knicks didn’t extend any of the players they drafted since 1994.

Last season, the former 8th pick averaged 2.7 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.6 assists.

Meanwhile, Anthony Slater from The Athletic reports that Warriors will waive Smailagic. Serbian forward had two more non-guaranteed seasons remaining on his contract.

Smailagic averaged 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 15 games.

However, it looks like the Oklahoma City Thunder will try to retain Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk. The club made the Ukrainian guard a restricted free agent, according to Michael Scotto from Hoopshype.

Last season, Mykhailiuk averaged 10.3 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 30 games with Thunder jerseys.
