Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who was an assistant coach for Team USA at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, would be interested in becoming the head coach of the Americans for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, he said during an interview with Tim Kawakami of The Athletic.

"Of course I'd be interested in coaching Team USA. I mean, who wouldn't be? I'll leave it at that. I have no idea how it will all transpire; there are a lot of great candidates out there. And if I were to be considered, that would be an honor", Kerr said during the interview.

Gregg Popovich, the current head coach of Team USA, is 72-years-old and many believe that he won't be leading the team in Paris in 3 years. The structure of Team USA will definitely see some changes, considering that also long-time executive Jerry Colangelo decided to step down from his position after the Tokyo Olympics.
