Argentinian talent Leandro Bolmaro was selected 23rd in this year's NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. However, his rights were soon traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Bolmaro is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Wolves and join the team next week, as reported by Infobae. Bolmaro's last team, FC Barcelona, will receive a €900 thousand buyout for this signing. Timberwolves will cover €750 thousand, while Bolmaro will have to pay €150 out of pocket.

The 20-year-old averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 assists, 1.1 rebounds, and 2.6 PIR over 9.8 minutes in last season's EuroLeague. He accumulated 6.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 7.3 PIR over 15.2 minutes in the Spanish Liga ACB.

Bolmaro represented the Argentinian National Team in the Tokyo Olympics this summer, averaging 2.0 points and 1.0 rebounds over 11.3 minutes. Argentina finished seventh in the Olympics, losing to Australia in the quarter-finals.
