Bayern Munich strengthened their frontcourt with the addition of Augustine Rubit.
The Bavarian team announced that 32-year-old American signed a one-year deal. Per a team announcement, Rubit is the last signing, and now the Bayern roster is complete.
“This will be my sixth season in Germany, so this is very special, and I can hardly wait. I've even seen several people in Texas with Bayern jerseys, and I know that this is another very special challenge at this club,” said Rubit, who completed the medical check-ups in Munich on Monday.

Rubit played for Zalgiris Kaunas last season and averaged 8.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 9.4 PIR in 31 EuroLeague games.
In the Lithuanian league, the forward posted 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 8.6 PIR.
“We are very happy that Augustine is joining us. He's another variable big man who can play both positions,” said Bayern's sports director Daniele Baiesi. “Augustine also knows our coach and is a long-time Bundesliga and EuroLeague veteran who has improved from year to year. With him, our squad is complete."
