According to Alex Schiffer of The Athletic, DeAndre Jordan's days with the Brooklyn Nets could be numbered. The big man has been shopped by the Nets since the NBA Draft and according to Schiffer, he might leave the team before the start of the training camp in San Diego.

Jordan is set to make $9.8 million this season and has another guaranteed year on his contract that runs through the 2022-23 season. Schiffer is still not sure, though, how Jordan's departure could be facilitated: "So far the trade market for him has been pretty scarce. So other options like a buyout might come into factor. No matter what, I do not expect him back."

DeAndre Jordan averaged 7.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game last season. However, his contribution, especially in the second part of the regular season and during the playoffs, was limited.
