Despite much uncertainty looming around next season's Chinese Basketball Association, it seems like the season will tip off as usual.

The Shanghai Sharks are already forming a Big Three. Emiliano Carchia of Sportando reports that Sharks will have three former NBA players: Jimmer Fredette, Jamaal Franklin, and Noah Vonleh.

Fredette was a member of the Sharks for four years: from 2016 to 2019 and from 2020 to 2021. He has not played for any other Chinese club during his career.

Jamaal Franklin has been a member of the Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets in the past. He has been playing in China since 2014.

Last year, the 30-year-old represented the Shanxi Loongs, averaging 24.8 points (39% 3PT), 8.2 rebounds, and 9.4 assists.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Vonleh has spent his entire career in the NBA so far. He was a member of the Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, and the Brooklyn Nets.

He appeared in only four games for the Nets last year and did not score any points.

Vonleh's best season was in 2018-19, when he appeared in 68 games for the Knicks and averaged 8.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
