Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson has been on a long path to recovery since sustaining two significant injuries: a torn ACL in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors and a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered during a practice before the 2020-21 season.
However, Thomspon is finally on his way back to the court. On Monday, the Warriors announced that the Splash Brother is progressing well and should be ready to participate in training camp drills.

Last month, Warriors' President Bob Myers said that Thompson is expected to return to action around Christmas time.
Thompson averaged 21.5 points (40% 3PT), 3.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in the 2018-19 campaign.
The second pick of last year's NBA Draft, James Wiseman, is also on track to return to action in the upcoming season.
Wiseman suffered a right meniscal tear in April of last season. The big man is expected to participate in individual workouts come training camp. His availability to practice fully with the team will be determined on October 15.
