EuroLeague veteran power forward Malcolm Thomas has signed a lucrative short-term (1.5 month) deal with Petkimspor in Turkey’s BSL, his agency told Sportando.

Thomas played last season in Spain with Unicaja Malaga, averaging around six points and four rebounds per game since joining the team. He has spent several years in the EuroLeague with Maccabi Tel Aviv (2012-13), Khimki Moscow (2017-19), Fenerbahce (2019-20) and Bayern Munich.

The 33-year-old forward/center played 40 NBA games across five seasons, from 2011 through 2015 before moving to Europe.  Petkimspor stand at 1-7 in the BSL, being the bottom-placed team.
