The Denver Nuggets already have a long list of injuries with PJ Dozier suffering a potential season-ending injury in his left knee. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Dozier is feared to have suffered an ACL tear.

The team will move on to a more specific evaluation today.

Dozier crumpled to the floor after coming down awkwardly on a layup attempt over Cody Zeller late in the first quarter on Tuesday’s loss to Blazers. Denver has been hit with several injuries since the start of the season.

Dozier is in his third year with the Nuggets, after playing two games with the Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2017-2018 season and six with the Boston Celtics the following campaign. The 25-year-old set career-highs in points per game (7.7), rebounds per game (3.6) and minutes per game (21.8) last season across 50 contests, including six starts.

In 18 games off the bench this season, Dozier is averaging 5.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 18.9 minutes.
