Former NBAer Isaiah Whitehead and Besiktas part ways

Besiktas Icrypex Istanbul (2-3) lost their second leader in the past six days.

According to Sportando’s Emiliano Carchia, the Turkish club parted ways with former NBAer Isaiah Whitehead.

Last week, Jordan Bone also left Besiktas. He signed with the Spanish ACB club Casademont Zaragoza.

Whitehead averaged 12.8 points, 3 rebounds, 4.8 AST, and 7.8 EFF in four Basketball Champions League games.

Whitehead played for the Brooklyn Nets in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. He joined Besiktas from KK Mornar Bar.

Bone participated in three BCL contests, in which he averaged 17 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 13.3 EFF.

With 2 wins and 3 losses, Besiktas stand in third place of Group H.
