Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas revealed that rookie Alperen Sengun will miss at least one week more due to a sprained right ankle.

"It's not day-to-day, probably about a week and then we'll see," Silas said after the last night's game. "Today was the first day he has done anything on the floor. Before that, he has been doing conditioning and treatment."

Sengun suffered the injury on January 1, in a loss against the Miami Heat. He appeared to turn his right ankle awkwardly in the first half.

The 19-year-old Turkish big man is averaging 9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists over 35 games this season (18 minutes of playing).

BasketNews analyzed Alperen Sengun's strengths and weaknesses in the latest breakdown video.
