A couple of nights ago, Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid posted monstrous performances, having 49 and 50 points' shows respectively.

The Serbian superstar registered a 49-point triple-double, on top of that, providing a cross-court dime to Gordon's game-winner against the LA Clippers. Last night Joel Embiid had 40 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists to lead the Sixers, which blew up the 24-point lead and lost over the same Los Angeles squad.

Nothing strange, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue received a question, requesting to compare those two big men.

"One had 50 and one had 49 [the other night] so the difference is one point... Two best centers in the NBA. They can do it on the perimeter and in the post. You can't put small guys on them because they are going to punish you," commented Ty Lue after the huge come-back victory.

The numbers don't lie either. The reigning MVP Jokic is guiding the Jamal Murray-less Denver Nuggets to a 23-21 record with averages of 25.9 points, 13.8 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.4 steals. He is the front runner of the 2022 NBA MVP Ladder.

Joel Embiid ranks third there, recording 28.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.4 blocks over 34 games.
