Pierria Henry sidelined for 3 weeks due to injury

Ahead of tomorrow's Turkish Cup final clash against Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul have received some unfortunate news. According to the club's official announcement, Pierria Henry is set to miss three weeks of action due to a left knee injury.

According to the announcement, the American guard suffered the injury in Friday's chaotic Turkish Cup semifinal match against Galatasaray.

An MRI was taken today at Acıbadem Bursa Hospital, which revealed internal lateral ligament damage to the left knee. Henry's physical condition will be reassessed by the club in three weeks.

Ever since Nando de Colo suffered a serious injury several months ago, Pierria Henry has been one of the core players for the Turkish powerhouse. Henry averages 7.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1.8 steals for 9.5 PIR for the club in the EuroLeague.

Fenerbahce now meet Anadolu Efes in the Turkish Cup final tomorrow at 15:00 CET. The club then travels to Monaco to play against the AS Monaco in the EuroLeague next week. The team currently sits 8th in the league's standings with 12 wins and 10 losses.
