Draymond Green was a key part of recruiting Kevin Durant to join the Golden State Warriors after the 2015-16 NBA season.

On the latest episode of his podcast "The Draymond Green Show", the 31-year-old said he believes Harrison Barnes still holds a grudge against him for bringing Durant to GSW, via NBC Sports.

In order for the Warriors to add the OKC's superstar, Golden State had to trade Barnes to the Dallas Mavericks, which jersey he represented until 2019.

"I think to this day he [Barnes] does not like me for Durant coming here," Green said. "And the reality is, I didn't tell Bob Myers [Warriors GM ] to trade you to bring KD in.

He took it very personally because of that story that came out that I cried to KD in the car. He took it very personally at me. This dude invites Steph, Klay, everybody to his wedding except me.

I didn't take it personally because it is what it is. It sucks that you got traded but you went and made your money," Draymond Green spoke.

Barnes was one of the main contributors of the Warriors team that went 73-9 and lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals.

He averaged 11.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists over 66 regular season matches, and 9.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists in 24 playoffs duels.

Barnes shot just 35 percent during the 2015-16 NBA Finals loss in which the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead over LeBron James and the Cavs, according to NBC Sports.
