Virtus Bologna CEO Luca Baraldi spoke to the reporters after the presentation of the project 'Virtus Care'. The Italian executive confirmed that the team has already reached an agreement with Daniel Hackett and now they're waiting for the termination of his contract with CSKA Moscow.
"We have an agreement with Hackett", Baraldi said. "Now we're waiting that CSKA will set him free. There's not a lot of time because the new players have to arrive by March 8 if we want to use them in EuroCup".
Baraldi didn't rule out the possibilities of further additions to the roster in addition to Hackett's one.
"We're following different possibilities, I can't rule out that we'll go back on the market", the Virtus Bologna executive added.
Virtus are looking for a big man and among their options, there are CSKA Moscow Johannes Voigtmann and Zenit Jordan Mickey.
