LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne have been hit with injuries throughout the entire 2021-2022 EuroLeague season. However, good news has finally arrived for the club.

According to bebasket.fr, David Lighty, who has been sidelined multiple times this year, is expected to be back with the team and play in the French LNB league match against Boulogne-Levallois this Saturday. Additionally, Raymar Morgan is now back in training.

After arriving this summer to make up for the departures of Guerschon Yabusele and Moustapha Fall, Morgan has not played a single minute in an official match this season. The player underwent a then-thought season-ending surgery for a herniated disc back in November, but the forward may finally make his debut as soon as next week.

Finally, the website reports that Elie Okobo, who underwent surgery for a cyst in his right shoulder early last month, is also expected to be back with the team soon. With a playoff push on their horizon, ASVEL is now looking to make its name heard in Europe.
