Alex Abrines scored 26 points while draining 7 three-pointers but it was not enough to earn FC Barcelona (22-7) a victory against Casademont Zaragoza (10-19) as the home team edged out the league's favorites in the final minutes of the match 73-71 (16-11, 19-19, 23-21, 18-11) to earn only their 10th victory in the season.

Barcelona took the early lead (14-8) and maintained it throughout the first quarter. The story in the second quarter did not change as Barca kept their hold on the lead, and the teams finished the first half separated by 5 - 35-30.
