Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade (24-2) keep rolling, winning their seventh straight contest at the Adriatic League by taking down the visiting Aleksandrovac Igokea (15-11) 85-66 (20-11, 23-22, 20-14, 22-19). Zvezda finished the regular season at the top of the standings.
After the halftime, Igokea reacted and trimmed the deficit to 3 points (44-47), but Zvezda quickly stabilized their positions, initiated a 16-3 run, and built a safe 16 points lead (63-47) after the third quarter.
The situation didn’t change in the last quarter, where Crvena Zvezda controlled the game, and Dejan Radonic’s squad celebrated a convincing victory.
Nikola Kalinic led Crvena Zvezda with 16 points (5/8 2PT, 2/2 3PT), 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
On the opposing side, Antabia Waller was the high-scorer for Igokea, ending with 16 points (3/4 2PT, 3/6 3PT, 1/1 FT) and 4 rebounds.
