Last season marked a historic achievement. All three MVPs of the major basketball competitions in the world were from Serbia.

Nikola Jokic became the NBA's Most Valuable Player in the 2020-2021 season. That same season Vasilije Micic captured the EuroLeague Regular Season MVP trophy, while Milos Teodosic became the MVP of the EuroCup's regular season.

It marked the first time all MVPs from the three major competitions were from the same country.
