Former Los Angeles Lakers player and two-time NBA champion Slava Medvedenko is now fighting for his country, Ukraine, after the Russian invasion he decided to remain in his country and he's helping out in any way he can, both on the ground and financially.

The former player has already sold many memorabilia from his playing days, including t-shirts, shoes, and jerseys. Now Medvedenko has officially started the process of selling his championship rings and he asked for the Los Angeles Lakers' assistance.

The NBA franchise answered quickly and has already confirmed that they'll replace Medvedenko rings when he'll be able to sell them. The Lakers also offered to send multiple shipments of sports gear to Ukraine, where Medvdenko plans to run a basketball camp for children affected by war.
