Joel Embiid underwent surgery on Monday to repair his right thumb. A separate procedure was also performed to repair an injury to his left index finger.

Neither is expected to impact Embiid's availability for the Philadelphia 76ers camp in the fall (September).

Embiid had an incredible season, but his performance against Miami in the playoffs was hindered by his multitude of injuries. He looks to be ready for next season, as he begins another quest for MVP and an NBA Championship.
