According to Sportando's Emiliano Carchia, Virtus Bologna have interest in signing the Italian point guard Marco Spissu.

The 27-year-old last played for UNICS Kazan, where he came off the bench in all 26 games in the EuroLeague this season and averaged 5.1 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per game.

The Italian guard signed a 1+1 deal with UNICS last summer but now is looking for other options.

According to the same report, another two Italian teams are also interested in Spissu. However, Reyer Venezia and Derthona Basket cannot offer him EuroLeague, unlike Virtus Bologna, which qualified by winning the 2022 EuroCup after beating Frutti Extra Bursaspor 80-67 in the final.
