Al Horford: 'We haven't achieved anything yet, we have to keep working'

Al Horford was the top scorer of the Boston Celtics, which stole home court advantage in the NBA Finals after beating Golden State Warriors in San Francisco in Game 1. The Dominican player scored 26 points and made 6 out 8 shots from beyond the arc.

The Celtics center spoke after the game, emphasizing how special it was to be able to play in the Finals for the first time in his career: "I feel very lucky to be here playing this series."

The former All-Star was impressed by how his team was performing during the fourth period.

"The group that started the 4th period did great: Jaylen attacking, Rob's rebounding... There are keep it up," he continued.

The veteran center didn‘t emphasize his outstanding performance in Game 1 and gave credit to his teammates.

"We came to play, we tried to look for good opportunities and work on it. My boys found me today and that's how the points came."

"We haven't achieved anything yet, we have to keep working. Although the winning this one feels very good, we have to get to work to prepare for the next match," Horford finished off his speech.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals will take place Sunday night in San Francisco where the Celtics will attempt to take a decisive 2-0 lead against the Warriors.
