The NBA trade market and free agency open in a month, but the Chicago Bulls are already looking forward to gear up in order to become a new challenger in the Eastern Conference.

According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the Bulls target well-established centers in Rudy Gobert and Mitchell Robinson.

The Bulls are likely going to be over the cap if they manage to re-sign Zach LaVine, so acquiring Gobert would mean more moves need to be made. This suggests that their current starting center, a two-time All-Star Nikola Vucevic, might be on the trading block this off-season.

After Quin Snyder's departure from the Utah Jazz, Rudy Gobert has gained lots of interest as a trade target around the league. Gobert, 3-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, has spent his entire 9-year NBA career on the Utah Jazz.

Last season Gobert averaged 15.6 points, 14.7 rebounds (1st in the NBA), and 2.1 blocks per game.

Robinson, who is about to become an unrestricted free agent, is likely to look for a good contract and an important role as he has lots of interest around the league.

Last season for the New York Knicks, Robinson averaged 8.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game.
