Ahead of the NBA Finals Game 6 between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics, Warriors' forward Draymond Green shared how close the bond with his teammates Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are.

It now has been 10 years that Green, Curry, and Thompson played together for the Warriors. The trio has won 3 NBA championships together in that time.

"It's funny, we were sitting on a plane yesterday, Steph, Klay, and I. We sit at the same table and Bob [Myers] walks past by and he was like 'man, you guys are funny, ya'll still sitting out there'," said Green.

"This doesn't happen. Guys are not even on the same team for 10 years, let alone still sitting at the same table and enjoying each other’s conversation and presence," Green added.

Green also mentioned Andre Iguodala as a part of this long ride together, who also won all 3 championships together with Green on the Warriors.

"This journey wouldn't be the same without those two guys for me, and Andre [Iguodala] as well," said Green.

"Andre has been along the ride with us pretty much this entire time as well, but I couldn't imagine sharing this journey with anyone else," Green continued.

Green then explained that it goes far beyond just basketball court when it comes to friendship with Curry and Thompson.

"Our bond stretches far past what we accomplished on the basketball court," Green spoke. "Those bonds will last forever. We are linked and connected together forever."

Green and the Golden State Warriors are just one win away from the NBA championship. Warriors are leading the series vs the Celtics 3-2 but will play the next game away at TD Garden in Boston.

Green knows that the right focus and intensity levels will be required to close the series and win his 4th NBA championship tomorrow night.

"There's a way to cap this all off to come with the right focus and intensity level tomorrow and be ready to close this thing up," Green concluded.
