Hapoel Jerusalem announce Aleksandar Dzikic as a new head coach

Aleksandar Dzikic has been named as the new head coach of Hapoel Jerusalem, via the official club's report. The 51-year-old specialist signed a two-year deal.

"I'm happy and excited to join Hapoel Jerusalem," Dzikic said. "I have great memories of the organization and especially the fans from the last time I came to the arena. I can guarantee that we'll work hard as a team, with passion, courage, and determination on the way to achieving our common goals."

Dzikic coached Buducnost Podgorica last season, with whom he won a double in Montenegro. It was his second stint with the team.

In the 2017-18 season, Dzikic led the blue and white club to its greatest success in the Adriatic League. Under his guidance, Buducnost raised the ABA League trophy.

Dzikic has experience of coaching other ABA League teams as well, as he has previously been at the helm of Olimpija Ljubljana, Krka Novo Mesto, and Partizan NIS Belgrade.
