Frutti Extra Bursaspor keeps shaping the roster for the upcoming season. Although some important names from last year's campaign, like Onuralp Bitim and Dave Dudzinski, renewed contracts, there will be some remarkable changes from the team that reached the EuroCup final and pushed the BSL champions Fenerbahce Beko to the decisive game in the playoffs.
Andrew Andrews, one of the main leaders of last season's brilliant team, revealed to BasketNews that he will not remain in Bursa and will look for a new challenge at the highest level possible in the European basketball sphere.
"I loved my time at Bursa, the management, coaching staff, and my teammates. Bursa did an amazing job resigning Derek Needham, Dave Dudzinski, and Onuralp Bitim," the 29-year-old American guard noted.

"During the year, the coach would talk to me about being a high-level European player, even a EuroLeague player this off-season. I've been focusing on trying to take that next step," he informed.
Andrews also made it clear that there were no problems with the club and in contrast with the reports circulated earlier, he is not leaving because of family problems.
"I never got a contract from Bursa," Andrews expressed.
"Some people reported that I'm leaving because of family issues. That's completely false. I loved the fans, coaching staff, management, and teammates. Bursa has a place in my heart forever; we made a lot of history this year."
During the season, Andrews became the primary scorer of Bursaspor, especially once Allerik Freeman left for CSKA. From mid-January to the end of the season, he averaged 15.5 points, 4.2 assists, 1.8 steals, and shot 44% from 3-point range.
