According to a recent report by Kelly Iko of The Athletic, German point guard Dennis Schroder is expected to not re-sign with the Houston Rockets this summer.
Schroder was traded to the Rockets from the Boston Celtics in February and played 15 games in total for the Houston team.
In the 2021-22 season, Schroder averaged 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game in 64 appearances combined on both teams.
The German star signed a one-year, $5.9 million contract with the Celtics last offseason after turning down a four-year, $84 million contract extension from the Los Angeles Lakers.
The rebuilding Rockets have already traded away Christian Wood to the Dallas Mavericks, and more moves could potentially be on the horizon.
