Former EuroCup MVP Rob Gray leaves Monaco for Turkey

Rob Gray, the 2021 EuroCup finals MVP with AS Monaco, is flying to Turkey to join Tofas Bursa.

A few hours before the outcome of the French championship was decided, where his team, Monaco lost to LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in Game 5, the 28-year-old guard was announced by his new team. The former Bourg and Boulogne-Levallois player had not played with the Roca Team since March 27 and had even returned to the United States.

A major player for AS Monaco in the quest for the EuroCup trophy in 2021, he was named finals MVP. During that campaign, he averaged 18.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.

This season, in the 13 games he played in the French LNB, he averaged 10.8 points ON 43.6% from behind the arc. The American guard is thus set to discover a new league in the Turkish BSL, and a new European competition in the BCL.
