The Cleveland Cavaliers are very much interested in bringing back veteran guard Ricky Rubio in free agency, according to Jason Lloyd of The Athletic.

Following the severe injury, the Spanish point guard was traded at the deadline by the Cavs and ended up with the Indiana Pacers but his contract was mostly used as a filler in the trade for Caris LeVert.

Rubio tore the ACL in his left knee late in a game against the New Orleans Pelicans on December 28. He will not be available to his next team until some point midway through the 2022-23 season, via the report.
