Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has declined his $36.4M option for the next season and became a free agent, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Beal is eligible to sign a 5-year max to return to the Wizards or sign elsewhere on a 4-year deal.

A $123.6M salary cap means a max deal for Bradley Beal would now be $250.9M over five years.
