Omer Yurtseven: Heat guarantee center's contract for upcoming season

Miami Heat players Max Strus ($1.8 million), Gabe Vincent ($1.8 million), and Omer Yurtseven ($1.75 million) all had their contracts guaranteed for the 2022-23 season, according to Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.

The 24-year-old Yurtseven finished his first season in the NBA, averaging 5.3 points and 5.3 rebounds over 56 games.

His best stretch came when Miami's starting center Bam Adebayo was forced to miss the basketball action due to thumb surgery.

The Miami Heat were championship contenders but finished their journey in the Eastern Conference Finals where had to bow down against the Boston Celtics, 3-4.
