NBA duo, amazing third quarter secure Germany first place in Group D

Germany (4-1) will finish on top of the Group D for the World Cup Qualifiers, despite the result in the last match against Poland (1-3). Germany cruised past Estonia (2-3) on the road, 88-57 (18-11, 13-11, 36-16, 21-19).

After an 8-0 spurt, Germany created a 15-point advantage (27-15) at the start of the second quarter.

Even though Estonia came within 9 at halftime (22-31), Dennis Schroder and the company won the third quarter by 20 points. Their lead grew up to 29 points (67-39) before the last 10 minutes of the duel.

Christian Sengfelder was the top performer for the winners, accumulating 23 points (7/11 2PT, 2/4 3PT, 3/4 FT), 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 25 PIR.

Raptors' Isaac Bonga had 21 points (6/10 2PT, 2/7 3PT, 3/5 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 turnovers, 3 blocks, and 19 PIR.

Dennis Schroder of the Houston Rockets posted an all-around performance with 14 points (4/9 2PT, 0/8 3PT, 6/6 FT), 7 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 turnovers, 4 steals, and 18 PIR.
