Free-agent center Mitchell Robinson has agreed to re-sign to a four-year, $60 million contract with the New York Knicks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The 24-year-old has spent all his four NBA career years with the Knicks. New York drafted him 36th overall in the 2018 NBA draft.
This past season the 2.13-meters tall Robinson has started 62 out of the 72 games for the Knicks and has averaged 8.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks (4th in the league) per game.
The defensive-minded center is considered a steal of the 2018 draft as the Knicks have managed to find value in the second round by picking Robinson, who averaged at least 1.5 blocks per game in all of his four seasons.
