NBA All-Star Zach LaVine has agreed to a five-year, $215.2 million maximum contract to return to the Chicago Bulls, with a player option in Year 5, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

LaVine has spent 5 seasons with the Bulls, making the playoffs last season for the first time in his 8-year NBA career.

1.96-meters tall guard had lots of interest around the league but returned to the Bulls as expected. Only the Bulls could have offered him a 5-year max deal with over 200$ million. Other teams in pursuit could have offered him around a $157 million maximum deal.
