Raul Neto signs one-year deal with Cavaliers

Free agent Brazilian guard Raul Neto is signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Point guard Neto reportedly has signed for one-year on the veteran's minimum.

For the last two seasons, the 30-year-old has played for the Washington Wizards. Last season he averaged 7.5 points, 3.1 assists, and 1.9 rebounds.

The 1.85-meters tall Brazilian has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers(2019-2020) and the Utah Jazz (2015-2019). Before coming to the NBA, Neto played a season for UCAM Murcia in Spain.

Neto was drafted in 2013 with the 47th overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks, but the Brazilian did not come to the NBA until 2015 when his rights were traded to the Jazz.
