The head coach of the Lithuanian national team, Kazys Maksvytis, announced that two more players will not compete in the EuroBasket 2022.
Those athletes are center Arturas Gudaitis and forward Eimantas Bendzius. Earlier, Maksvytis revealed that Edgaras Ulanovas will not help the team in the upcoming tournament as well.
"Gudaitis said he wants to get back in shape, rest, and heal his injuries. One more is Bendzius. He said that a new generation is coming, he asked me to spend this summer resting," coach Maksvytis said after the defeat to the Czechs.
