Umana Reyer Venice remains the most active EuroCup team in the transfer market this off-season.
The Italian team has secured the signature of Allerik Freeman, the club officially announced. Freeman is the eighth Umana Reyer addition in the summer.
Earlier they landed Amedeo Tessitori, Matteo Chillo, Jayson Granger, Riccardo Moraschini, Derek Willis, Jordan Parks, and Marco Spissu.

The 27-year-old Freeman last played for CSKA Moscow, but in the first half of the 2021-22 season, he shone for Frutti Extra Bursaspor in the EuroCup competition. He averaged 19.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 16.4 PIR over nine EuroCup games (33.5 minutes) this past campaign.
Freeman also has experience of playing in the EuroLeague, representing LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in 2020-21. Throughout 18 matches, he averaged 7.4 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
After playing college basketball at Baylor University and North Carolina State University, Freeman played professionally for Shenzhen in the Chinese Basketball Association and Alba Fehervar of Hungary.
