James Nunnally left Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv this summer to join Partizan NIS Belgrade.
Talking about his arrival to the Serbian club with Telesport, the American forward was highly optimistic.
"I am very excited to come to a club like Partizan," he said. "I know the history of the club, I know the current situation, I know what the ambitions are, I am familiar with the atmosphere inside and around the club, with great fans who are always with the team and create a great atmosphere at matches. I feel blessed for the opportunity to play for Partizan next season."
Zeljko Obradovic will coach the team for the second straight season, a club he came back to lead after 28 years of winning trophies outside of Serbia. Nunnally was certain - the legendary coach was the primary reason of his arrival.
"Zeljko is the main reason for my coming to Partizan," former Maccabi forward explained. "We have always had a great relationship, full of respect, communication has been excellent, when things are set up right from the beginning, everything works as it should."
Nunnally will join the summer signings of Danilo Andjusic, Dante Exum, and Ioannis Papapetrou. "I followed the events surrounding the arrivals. Ambitions are at a maximum, the highest possible. Great players have been brought in this summer, we will fight and give our best to meet expectations," Nunnally hoped.
