Kevin Punter delivers upset to Trae Young, John Collins in Drew League

The Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young teamed up with his fellow Hawk John Collins in Saturday's Drew League game in Los Angeles.

Young didn't disappoint in his first Drew appearance since 2019, finishing the game with 22 points (7/16 FGs), 7 assists, and 7 steals. Collins, playing in the Drew League for the first time, posted a double-double with 16 points (6/16 FGs) and 12 rebounds.

Despite Young and Collins' efforts, their Black Pearl Elite team fell short against CitiTeam Blazers 100-103.

When he played in the Drew League back in 2019, Trae Young dropped 31 points in his debut for BB4L.

The Hawks duo's appearance came one week after LeBron James showed up and dominated the Drew League. His performance helped bring the league back into the spotlight.
