Greece includes all its stars in preliminary roster for EuroBasket 2022

The Greek national team head coach Dimitris Itoudis announced 23 players, who will start the preparation for the Second Round of FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers and FIBA EuroBasket 2022.

Two-time NBA MVP and NBA champ in 2021, Giannis Antetokounmpo returns to the national team after the 2019 FIBA World Cup. His brothers Thanasis, Kostas, and Alex join the NBA superstar too.

Giannis debuted with the Greece jersey in the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Then the Greek Freak represented his country in EuroBasket 2015, the 2016 Olympic Qualifying Tournament, and the aforementioned 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Overall, he has averaged 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 14.5 EFF over 22 international duels.

Other big names on the Greek NT list involve Nick Calathes, Kostas Sloukas, Ioannis Papapetrou, Kostas Papanikolaou, Georgios Papagiannis, and Tyler Dorsey.

Greece will begin its training camp on August 1 and will play against Serbia and Belgium in WC European Qualifiers ahead of EuroBasket 2022.

The Greek national team is placed in EuroBasket's Group C, where they will face Estonia, Ukraine, Great Britain, Italy, and Croatia.
