News broke out on Monday about Boston Celtics possibly offering a Jaylen Brown-centered package to lure Kevin Durant to the team.

Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum had a brief talk with reporters on his way to the Showtime documentary "NYC Point Gods" premiere. The quick exchange was centered around questions about the possible blockbuster trade.

"I played with him during the Olympics," Tatum told. "Obviously, he's a great player, but that's not my decision. I love our team. I love the guys that we got."

"We got two new pieces," Tatum said about the new additions of Malcolm Brogdon and Danilo Gallinari. "I love our team. I just go out there and play with my teammates. I don't put that [general manager] hat on to make decisions."

Durant requested a trade from Brooklyn on June 30 and after active discussions between the Nets and interested teams in early July, conversations have slowed down.

Durant is the executive producer of the documentary but he elected not to stop to talk to reporters during the premiere.
