Lithuania comfortably overcomes Estonia's challenge in friendly game

The Lithuanian NT defeated the Estonian NT in a friendly game in Klaipeda with strong performances from Rokas Giedraitis and Martynas Echodas 84-70 (21-12, 20-14, 28-19, 15-25).

The game was out of reach in the third quarter already, which Lithuania won by 9 points and had 24 point lead before the final quarter, which was just a formality at that point.

With 28 seconds left in the third quarter, Marius Grigonis hit a 3-pointer to give Lithuania a 25-point lead, and despite Matthias Tass' performance, Estonia was left without many chances for a comeback.

Lithuania already had a 16-point lead (36-20) in the second quarter after Martynas Echodas' jump shot with 3:48 left in the quarter. After that Lithuania never looked back and only increased their lead.

Estonia managed to close the gap in the last quarter behind Kristian Kullamae's efforts.
