Jonas Valanciunas and Domantas Sabonis made their debut on the Lithuanian national team this summer. Powered by the big man duo, Lithuania easily defeated Finland at home 76-61 (28-13, 15-16, 20-13, 13-19).

Right from the get-go, Lithuania started showing who the better team is. Led by the overwhelming difference of class by both NBA centers, the home team got off to a 15-2 start. The rest of the first quarter followed the same path, and Lithuania led by 15 points after the first 10 minutes.

Although Lithuania led by 14 at the half, the number five-ranked European team continued to pound the ball inside, amassing a more-than-solid 21-point lead after the third quarter.
