Ratiopharm Ulm has announced the signing of an 18-year-old Spanish talent Juan Nunez to a three-year contract. Nunez is the youngest ever FIBA U20 European Championship MVP.

It was previously reported by BasketNews that the Spanish prospect is set to leave Real Madrid and join Ratiopharm.

Nunez led Spain to a U20 European title in July, averaging 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.6 steals for 14.4 PIR while being two years younger than the competition.

The 18-year-old is now training with the Spanish national team for the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers and EuroBasket 2022.

"Everything is going very fast but I try to enjoy this experience and get the best I can out of this," said Nunez at the start of the camp.
