After missing a week of action, the biggest star of the Israeli national team, Deni Avdija, has returned to team practices.

Talking about the Washington Wizards forward, the head coach of the team, Guy Goodes, provided the plan for the integration of the most important player on the roster.

"Deni’s scheduled to play but we'll have to see how many he can actually play after being sick and having to sit at home for 4-5 days without doing anything," Goodes commented. "The last thing we want to happen is an injury so we need to make sure that he plays the correct amount of minutes including practices."

"I hope that by Thursday he will play more as our goal is to integrate him into the roster of players that are here. We’ve had three games and he was dominant in the Auburn one which was a game that many important players were missing," the coach explained. "Our test will be how we can adapt Deni’s talent to the national team which will be the key to everyone going forward."

Israel is scheduled to play a friendly match against Romania today at 19:00 CET in Tel Aviv. The second meeting is set to take place two days later on August 18th at 19:30 CET in Menora Mivtachim Arena.
