Croatian NT named final 12-player roster for EuroBasket 2022

The Croatian national team's head coach Damir Mulaomerovic has decided to cut three more players to remain with the final 12-man roster for the upcoming EuroBasket.

The Croatian Basketball Federation announced the final roster of 12 players who will represent the country in the upcoming EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers and the EuroBasket 2022.

In addition to Roko Rogic, who did not play at the tournament in the Czech Republic and left the national team earlier, Pavlo Marcinkovic, Mateo Dreznjak, and Goran Filipovic are now also cut from the final roster by head coach Damir Mulaomerovic's decision.

As Croatia have been eliminated from the 2023 World Cup, they became one of the two 2022 EuroBasket participants (the other one being Poland) to be placed in the second qualifying round ahead of the next European tourney. 

First Croatia will play in the two qualification games for the EuroBasket 2025 (August 25 in Poland and August 28 against Switzerland in Opatija) and the EuroBasket from September 1 to 18.

Croatia is placed in Group C of the EuroBasket, which will be hosted in Milan. In the group stage besides the host Italy, the Croats will also face Greece, Estonia, Ukraine, and Great Britain.
